Rumor: Sheffield to be traded
Multiple sources across the net are reporting that the Yankees have a tentative deal in place for out fielder Gary Sheffield. While the Yankees have not officially picked up Sheffield’s option, sources say the team has at least one deal in place (if not two) and are simply waiting in hopes that Sheffield’s stock rises as some of the other highly sought after free agents (such as Carlos Lee and Alfonso Soriano) begin signing.
Teams rumored to be interested in the aging veteran are the Cubs, the Phillies, and possibly the Orioles.
Introduction
Hey everyone, just wanted to say that I’ve enjoyed reading a lot of people’s blogs on here and I hope to entertain at least a few of you. Either way it will give me something to do.
I’m always looking for all the latest and greatest trade rumors and all that jazz so I figured what better topic to have a blog about, right? Anyway, feel free to hit me up with any rumors you’ve heard.
Thanks, and enjoy!
